 Us and Mt. Hood It is our pleasure to introduce ourselves, we are Gregg and Rhonda. We want you to be able to get to know us as much as possible and hope that you like what you learn about us. Gregg has worked in electronics for the last 10 years. He holds an engineering degree and enjoys the technical challenges of work. Rhonda has been a teacher for 15 years and is wonderful with children. She earned her college degree in early childhood development. She has taught school for several years and is currently working to help young mothers learn parenting skills and responsibilities. We have been married for over 7 years and are best friends. When we discovered we couldn’t have children it was hard for both of us, but we have faith that there is a child out there waiting for us to love and care for. We enjoy spending time with our friend’s and relative’s children, and can’t wait to share our experience with our own child. We hope to become parents and experience all the joys and challenges of raising a child. We want to be surrounded in hugs, feedings, laughter, crying, and even the dirty diapers that come with being a mommy and daddy. Our long term goal is to possibly adopt again, giving our 1st child a brother or sister to grow up with. A family of 4 seems ideal at this point, but you just never know! As you will learn from many of the articles on this website, we love the outdoors and have the whole desert and mountains to explore. We like off-road sports, hiking in the mountains, snowshoeing, and camping. We enjoy cooking, watching sports, growing flowers in the spring, working in the garage, reading, and relaxing with a good movie. We both value and respect education and would help and encourage our child with schooling. We are active and maintain a healthy lifestyle. We take an interest in nutrition and try to eat well. Our home is a safe loving environment and a child will be a welcome part of our life.We have a large extended family that lives all over the country and we get together often for special family events. Our family is excited about our plans to adopt and they are always willing to lend a helping hand. We are within driving distance to both our parents’ homes making it easy to visit for holidays or special events. We are excited and look forward to becoming parents through adoption.
